The Awards are available to ten deserving African graduate students in sciences relevant to plant nutrition and the management of nutrients applied to crops.The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is a not-for-profit research and education organization founded in 2019 and based in Benguérir, Morocco, dedicated to enhancing plant nutrition for a resilient and food-secure Africa. APNI advances sustainable agriculture by improving soil fertility, nutrient management, and crop productivity through research, capacity-building, and partnerships with farmers, policymakers, and institutions. By leveraging data-driven insights, modern technologies, and climate-smart practices, APNI bridges scientific advancements with real-world farming applications. Through education, collaboration, and innovation, APNI promotes sustainable agricultural systems that support economic growth, environmental conservation, and long-term food security across the African continent.
